RiDM began at the National University of Singapore, inside Dr. Trevor E. Carlson’s Computer Architecture Group. The founding team spent years there researching faster and more efficient computer architectures together, and the dynamic dataflow work that became DODA existed as published research and PCT filings long before it was a product.
In 2023 the team graduated from NUS GRIP, the university’s flagship deep-tech startup incubation programme, now National GRIP. RiDM carries that architecture from research toward silicon with the same people who designed it.
